Moving Families Since 1904
When Emrick’s Van & Storage moved it’s first family in 1904, the local barber shop charged 10 cents for shaves and 25 cents for hair cuts. Teddy Roosevelt was President of the United States, and Enid was just another sprawling western town. Its a long way back since 1904, and other moving companies have ventured into the Moving business since then, but they have come and gone. Of the Pioneers … only Emrick’s remains. Emrick’s had the first paved street that went right to it’s front door. Emrick’s became part of the Allied Van Lines family in 1938. Today, Emrick’s headquarters is in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Emrick’s Van & Storage has been moving Oklahomans since before statehood. In 1904 George Emrick founded Emrick’s Van & Storage in what was then known as the Oklahoma Territory. Emrick’s began with horses and wagons and later had the first motorized truck in Enid, Oklahoma. Emrick’s became part of the Allied Van Lines family in 1938. Today, Emrick’s headquarters is in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and we have a fleet of over 100 pieces of equipment. Our team of almost 100 employees is dedicated to providing quality service for our customers.
